Building our Medical Community

Building our Medical Community

As part of the health system’s five-year strategic plan, 20 new physicians will join our health system and open practices in our local region between 2011 and 2015.

The success of our physician recruitment initiatives have been heightened by our New Emergency & Surgical Departments Building. Surgeons want to operate in facilities that lend leading-edge technology and performance capabilities to deliver top level quality outcomes. All physicians want to be a part of an organization where they, too, can be the leaders. Our physicians have a voice in the direction of our health system and lead us to continued growth and patient-focused experiences and quality outcomes. Their patients will be cared for in state-of-the-art facilities with access to the latest technology and national standards of care.

In 2012, we will welcome two critical/pulmonary care specialists, two orthopedic surgeons as well as an OB/GYN specialist, a pediatrician and several other specialists. Physicians who have recently joined our full-time medical staff include:

In addition to the new full-time JHS Medical Staff Members, several top-level specialists have joined our health system to deliver tertiary level care to our patients. Renowned vascular surgeons, cornea transplant specialists, interventional cardiologists and cardio-thoracic surgeons and other top-level subspecialists are practicing at Jameson Hospital, every day.

The New Emergency & Surgical Departments Building combined with our commitment to growth, quality and patient-focused experiences is positioning Jameson Health System to continue recruitment of top level physician talent to treat our patients. By investing in this building as well as substantial physician recruitment dollars, we are investing in the level of healthcare our region receives - now, and well into the future. What Jameson is building is building a healthier future for all of us.
