Position:  Aide Nutritional (Part-time Perm)  *This position is only open to internal applicants at this time

Description/Qualifications:  As scheduled, performs routine kitchen and dishroom assignments related to preparation, portioning and serving of food and nourishments to patients, staff and quests. Passes and collects trays, sets up and delivers late trays. Stocks units according to par levels.   HS Diploma or equivalent and food experience preferred.  Vocational Technical School training desirable. 

Position:   ED Patient Escort/Greeter (Part-time)  * This position is only open to internal candidates at this time

Description/Qualifications:  Serves patients and visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately.  HS Diploma or equivalent preferred; prefer previous experience in patient care areas; must be able to read and write. CPR Certification.

Position:  Escort (Full-time and Part-time temp) *These positions are only open to internal candidates at this time

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care primarily by transporting patients during admission, discharge, and transfer to and from other departments as necessary.  Assists with other patient activities by delivery specimens and running errands.  Functions in line with hospital and department policies/procedures/standards under the direct supervision of a nursing management person.  HS Diploma or equiv. preferred.  Prefer previous experience in patient care areas; must be able to read and write. CPR Certification.

Position:  Bereavement/Spiritual Coordinator (Full-time) *This position is only open to internal candidates at this time

Description/Qualfications:  Provides spiritual and bereavement counseling, guidance and education to patients, families and significant others. Provides for specific needs of individual faiths of patients, families, significant others and the community by fostering an ecumenical approach. During periods of crisis, illness or death, be it a lengthy or difficult dying process, may act as a liaison between the patient, family and/or hospital staff. Functions as a member of the Hospice IDG in formulating and revising the Plan of Care. Follows and supports Hospice patients’ family/significant others for at least 13 months following the death.  Baccalaureate degree in counseling, theology or related field. Has experience in counseling and hospital visitation. Hospice experience preferred.

Position:  LPN Hospice (Full-time) *This position is only open to internal candidates at this time

Description/Qualifciations:  Responsible for administrating individualized nursing care in a client's environment as directed.  Performs in line with the philosophy, objectives, and directives of the Jameson Hospital and Hospice. PA LPN license,successful completion of the Napnes Pharmacology exam for Practical Nurses of employment of graduation from an NLN accredited program, which included pharmacology content; Prefer one (1) year experience as an LPN in a health care setting;.  Valid driver's license; and auto liability insurance.  Previous venotech experience and Invision computer experience.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.   Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days. 

Position:  Nurse Home Visitor Children's Advocacy Center  (Full-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates at this time

Description/Qualifications:  Experience working with low-income and at-risk families.  Parent Education, case management, home visitation, and risk management.  In addition, experience networking and coordinating with other professionals and agencies.  Ability to community with people at all levels.  Cultural awareness.  Must have own vehicle and driver’s license.  PA RN License.  BSN preferred.

Position:  Admission Team Registered Nurse (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  The primary function of the Admission RN will be to cover the needs of the new patient on the medical/surgical and telemetry units. The admission process may begin on the inpatient unit in the Emergency Department or on the admission unit (4SE). The Admission Nurse will not routinely cover areas such as TCU or Rehab nor areas such as CCU or MCC. This position reports to the PCM of 2NE. The Admission Nurse maintains good communication with the administrative supervisor and the unit charge nurses regarding activities. The Admission Nurse communicates well with all staff or physicians who participate in the care of the newly admitted patient.  PA RN License, prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.

Position:  Bookkeeper Fiscal/Business Office (Full-time)

Description/Qualfications:  HS Diploma or equivalent required with additional business courses required.  Minimum of 3 years experience with hospital billing practices required; able to use various computer software to complete billing and follow-up.  Confident to discuss financial needs with patient.  Good working knowledge of Invision, medical terminology, 3M, Word, and Excel.  Excellent communication skills.  This position will be shared with the Business office and Fiscal.

Position:  Phlebotomist (Full-time Temporary)

Descrtiption/Qualifications:  Applicant shall possess a high school degree or equivalent.  Phlebotomy course/certificate and experience in a hospital clinical laboratory is most desirable. Additional college level education in the Laboratory Science field is also desirable.  Possess a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  Certified Nurse Practitioner (Full-time) JMC

Description/Qualifications:  The CRNP will work in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians in both our clinic and office settings.  Qualifications for the position are as follows:  PA CRNP License, BSN required, MSN preferred.  Five years experience in nursing, with at least three years in an OB/GYN setting and at least one year in management.  Ideal applicant will also have a demonstrated leadership ability; ability to work in stressful situations and possess good oral and written communication skills. 

Position:  Registered Nurse Med/Surg (64-flex)

Description/ Qualfications:  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. PA RN License.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. CPR Certification.  Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.

Position:  Laundry Helper (Part-time temporary)

Description/Qualifications:  To assist in the laundry on assignments such as shaking out, folding and making deliveries to our customers.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English and to follow oral and written directions.  Experience in laundry in the health care setting is helpful.  On the job training is provided. Must be able to perform basic math skills.

Position:  Home Health Aide (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for carrying out assigned tasks in the patient's place of residence, reporting changes in the patient's condition to the R.N. or Hospice Coordinator. Maintains responsibility.  HS diploma or equivalent required. Prefer past experience as a nursing assistant and experience in the home setting; Must have sincere interest in the ill and elderly, cheerful personality and interest in patient's achieving self-reliance; Must satisfactorily complete Hospice Aide training course as part of job orientation; Is required to have valid driver's license; own car; automobile insurance.  CPR Certification

Position:  Laboratory Secretary (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To do all the clerical and secretarial functions associated with the operation of a clinical laboratory and Blood Bank.   Graduate of an approved college for Medical Secretaries (minimum of two years), or possesses a high school degree or equivalent and one year of college with a minimum of three years experience as a medical secretary in a hospital of clinical laboratory.  Hours of work and days of vary.

Position:  Registered Nurse CCU (64-flex)

Description/Qualifications:  Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Performs extensive physical assessments and competently administers routinely used and emergency drugs.  Answers CPR and Medical Response pages throughout the North Campus of the Hospital. PA RN License.  Must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience.  Must be ACLS certified within one year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience

Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) Jameson Care Center

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support. 

Position:  Emergency Department Technician II (Part-time)

Qualifications/Description:  Performs various patient care activities as well as specific procedures and related services necessary in caring for the patients.  Performs clerical and patient care supportive duties in the ED, assists clinicians by performing designated procedures and/or transporting patients to other departments within the facility.  Performs secretarial and receptionist duties in the ED.  HS Diploma or equivalent, BLS certification required proof of current ACLS course completed. Previous experience in an acute care and/or Emergency Services preferred.  Possesses phlebotomy skills and intravenous access preferred.  Demonstrates ability to organize work in previous job situations.  Hospital conducted on-the-job training.  Medical Terminology proficiency required.  CPR Certification.

Position:  Nursing Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary in care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nursing and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required. Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program. Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire. Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.
