On behalf of the Jameson Health Care Foundation, it gives us great pleasure to host the 19^th Annual Jameson Golf Classic. The Classic has proven, year after year, to be genuinely enjoyable and with a deeper purpose to support the continued improvement of healthcare delivery for our neighbors.

This year’s event will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the New Castle Country Club with a goal to raise $100,000. Proceeds will contribute to the further development of a new dimension of healthcare technology in Jameson Hospital’s new Emergency & Surgical Departments, coming early in 2013. New technologies such as Electronic Medical Records and Digital Communication Boards will improve the quality of care through increased communication and efficiencies. These much-needed advancements in technology will position our community-owned hospital on the cutting edge for the sake of our patients and staff.

Support of this event has assisted us to provide life-saving services such as early cancer diagnostics with an upgrade to digital mammography, sustained survival of the Children’s Advocacy Center with a mission to reduce child abuse in Lawrence County through intervention and prevention, and a variety of services and programs that combine to result in a healthier community of residents we serve.

Our golfers will enjoy excellent prizes including opportunities for vacation packages and a $50,000 JetBlue Challenge, great food, friendly camaraderie - with a dose of healthy competition - and a great round of golf at an amazing course. Our sponsors will receive a digital ad and signage at the event, media recognition as well as ongoing acknowledgment for an entire year with displays in the main lobbies of the North and South Campuses of Jameson Hospital.
