Sessions Beginning at Jameson Hospital for Nationally Recognized KidShape Program
The Jameson Hospital Community Education Department and The Highmark Foundation have teamed to present KidShape, a nationally recognized family-based weight management program designed with hands-on activities for children ages six to thirteen and their parents. Activities are fun and promote healthy behavior changes like increasing activity and choosing more nutritious snacks, drinks and meals. There is no fee for participants.

Jameson Hospital and The Moraine Trails Council have joined forces to create a Medical Careers Exploration Program for teenagers. HOPE (Highmark Osteoporosis Prevention & Education) Program
HOPE is an interactive wellness and lifestyle improvement program that focuses on healthy choices to improve bone health and prevent or manage osteoporosis including nutrition, exercise, stress management, supplementation and other lifestyle habits. HOPE takes a comprehensive look at bone health and osteoporosis prevention through a combination of educational lectures, self-study, goal setting components and group exercise using stretch bands. Jameson Health System Announces New Location for Open Bore MRI Service
Jameson Health System has announced a new site for Open Bore MRI service located at Lawrence County MRI and Diagnostic Imaging Center, 2526 Wilmington Road in New Castle, PA. Open Bore service previously located in a freestanding building on Jameson Hospital’s North Campus has been relocated to make way for the new Emergency & Surgical Departments Building, currently under construction. Traditional MRI service continues to be offered in the Medical Imaging Department on the Ground Floor of Jameson Hospital.
