School of Nursing Class of 2014 Celebrates 100% Pass Rate on NCLEX  on  10/23/2014

The Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing Class of 2014 achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX-RN Licensure exam (State Boards).  The last class to achieve this milestone was in 2012.  Commencement exercises were held on May 23rd for the 24 students who received diplomas.  The Faculty and staff of the school of nursing had a true commitment to these students and all students.

Jameson Health System and UPMC Sign Letter of Intent
To merge Jameson into the UPMC network

The Boards of Directors of Jameson Health System (JHS) and UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) have signed a nonbinding letter of intent to merge Jameson into the UPMC network. Jameson, UPMC, and UPMC Horizon will collaborate to develop a plan that will ensure continued access to quality health care for the region.

Letter to the Editor: New Castle News  on  08/13/2014

My mother is a patient at Jameson Hospital.

Upon arrival, she subscribed for TV service, only to receive a blurry picture on a split screen. I called and was directed to an outside provider who told me they would look into the matter.

I came to find out that this problem was throughout the entire third floor. The next day, my husband and I visited, only to find the TV was still not working properly. I called again and left a message.
