Jameson Hospice Presents Spirituality and End-of-Life Care Program

New Castle, PA – March 31, 2011 – Jameson Hospice of Lawrence County will sponsor the 18thAnnual National Living With Grief Program presenting “Spirituality and End-of-Life Care” on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Jameson Hospital, 1211 Wilmington Avenue, New Castle in Dining Room Two located on the first floor. 

This program will discuss differences between spirituality and religion, while also addressing spirituality during illness, death and grief; spiritual assessment and empowerment and life review.

Frank Sesno, Director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University will serve as moderator.  The featured panel will be: Kenneth J. Doka, PhD, MDiv; Gary S. Fink, DMin; Carolyn Jacobs, PhD, MSW, Betty Kramer, PhD, MSW, Reinette Powers Murray, MSN, CNS, RN; and Martha rutland, DMin, BCC, ACPE.  The review committee members are Ruth Kershner, EdD, RN, CHES and Pam Kushner, MA, MD, FAAFP.
