Jameson Audiologist, Kate Bayer

Kate Bayer, MA,CCC/A, Audiologist has joined the Jameson Rehabilitation Center of Neshannock.  Kate is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology/Audiology and a graduate of Ohio University with a Masters of Arts in Audiology.  She has been a licensed audiologist since 2004 and certified by ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) since 2005. 
At the Neshannock Rehabilitation Center, Kate will perform audiological assessments and treatment and aural rehab for patients of all ages, from babies on up. Hearing deficits can stem from a variety of causes, congenital, age, illness, injury, or exposure to high-intensity noise. Regardless of the origin of the hearing deficiency, our state-licensed staff audiologist can assess the extent of the impairment and assist patients with remedial measures such as hearing aids. We are equipped to dispense, service, test and repair hearing aids on our premises. We also dispense a variety of devices and accessories for the hearing impaired such as alarm clocks, phone alert systems, closed caption decoders for televisions, and radio aids. Our audiologist is also available to provide onsite services to homebound patients and area work sites.
