I was absolutely thrilled with the care I received from Dr. Charles Donley, Medical Imaging Radiologist, Jeanne Ricci, Lead Diagnostic Technologist, David Moore, Diagnostic / CAT Scan Technologist and Brittany Bullock, 2^nd year School of Radiography Student, when I visited the radiology department this week! You went our of your way to take great care of me, and I want you to know how much I appreciate each and every one of you taking special and personal care of me.

I came in last week and was pleased with the care that Courtney Juricich, 1^st Year Student School of Radiography and Lori Ziegler, Lead Scheduler, gave to me. Lori was nice and polite and Courtney was extremely nice, caring and spent quality time with me. I want to thank everyone for having such a positive attitude with the patients.

We just wanted to acknowledge Jeff Meditz in Medical Imaging and thank him for the wonderful care he gave my family.  This was the first time my daughter had an IV placed and she was very nervous about the whole procedure!  Jeff did an awesome job making her feel comfortable, educating her, and even entertaining her.  She not only had a good experience, she had fun!  Amazing!  Kudos to Jeff and to Jameson for enabling him to do a great job. We are very grateful! 

Vicki was great, nice to see a smiling face first thing in the morning, and Lauren was excellent, she was cheerful, kind, knowledgeable and caring about my comfort and appeared concerned that I understood the complete procedure.

I went in for testing I had such a wonderful the experience--the nurses were fantastic in every situation. 

The nurses here are so nice, there was no wait, it was an overall wonderful experience. Thank you, Jameson employees!

 

March l Open House Praises

This Saturday, my wife and I toured your new facility. I just wanted to let you know that you and your team should be very proud. From the ER to the OR, it was absolutely fantastic. 

I worked in the Clinical Engineering Department at a large hospital in Pittsburgh for 12 years--so I am very familiar with hospitals, medical equipment, and expansion projects. During my time at the Pittsburgh hospital, I observed and was involved in two large projects; a new Trauma and ER and an OR expansion. 

Your facility would rival any one of those projects. The ER rooms are so spacious and well-equipped with the latest technology. The cat-scan and x-ray within the ER department is a great feature and will definitely save time for staff and patients. 

The OR was also very impressed with all of the newest technologies and it had a great layout. When I was in the OR Suite, I would have been hard pressed to say if I was in a community hospital or a large, teaching hospital. Again, I commend Jameson for a job well done.

The nurses were exceptional in making medical decisions. The nurses went above and beyond and I was strongly impressed with how knowledgeable these young nurses were.  

My husband and I were so overwhelmed by the warmth, care and excellent treatment I received.   She noted Allie, RN and Sandy, Aide and there were many others. I was also very pleased with Dietary Department. 

The staff is professional and friendly--all one needs in a hospital. 

I arrived in the ER with back pain, which ended up being a cardiac issue-- no time was wasted in treating me. Care was excellent and the doctors were outstanding!

The maternity floor was absolutely amazing! I couldn't have asked for better care during my delivery!

My experience was very good! I was very pleased with the care and the response of the nurses and the aids--exceptional. These people gave me the best care you can ever expect!

The staff in the ER is made up of some of the most compassionate and loving people!

Excellent care provided by the Emergency Room staff!

The nurses are all very nice--and the staff in the TCU and Social Worker, Rebecca Wendel, were absolutely wonderful! Also, the nurse, Cheryl, was an exceptionally helpful worker!

Melissa, the nurse, explained all to me and it was better than the doctor.  Very good nurse.

Had a different nurse each day but all of them were very friendly and courteous, includes LPN and GPN.  They all saw my ID bracelet before they gave me my pain shot or medicine each time.

Physical Therapy
The PT service from Vickie and Kathie was first class and very helpful to know the correct way to use the walker and PT on my right knee two times a day during my six day stay.

Environmental Services
The person cleaning my room each day was very friendly and did a very good job of cleaning my room for each day of my stay.

Nutritional Services
Meals were served on a timely basis and the female who took my meal orders was a credit to her job.  Very friendly and helpful.

2 West
The nurses were all very nice. The staff of TCU and social worker, Rebecca Wendel, were absolutely wonderful!  The nurse, Cheryl, was exceptionally helpful also.

Emergency Department
I parked in the ED area and was unsteady on my feet and had difficulty breathing.  Security got me a wheelchair, helped me register for x-rays and blood work.  After the blood work, the lab person pushed my wheelchair to the ED where Security took me to my car.  I commend Jameson and the staff for watching over me.

I was in a lot of pain and had to have an ultrasound.  The tech were very compassionate and didn't rush me through the system.  I really appreciated their care and concern.

I always prefer Jameson nurses above other hospitals.  They always treat you with respect.  I have the utmost confidence in the nursing staff at Jameson.

The housekeeping staff is superb.  I was at other hospitals and have found Jameson's housekeeping is way above.  The other hospitals could learn from Jameson.

The staff on second floor went way beyond excellent.  Kevin was very outstanding.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the two members of your Radiology Team with whom I had the pleasure of meeting and receiving care from during my visit to Jameson Hospital.  Marlene, the receptionist, provided excellent service in a very cordial manner.  Nancy, Ultrasound tech, provided exceptional care in a highly professional and friendly way.  I would like to thank both of them for a comfortable and efficient visit.  I view both of these ladies as a valuable asset to your team.

My father was a patient in the hospital.  We could not have asked for any better service and care than what he got from the nurses, doctors and all of the hospital staff who were excellent with him.  They were all so very kind and attentive.  My father is a kind and beautiful man.  He really had beautiful people taking care of him.

“I want to be sure that Sandy Boyle is recognized for her outstanding patient CARE.  I am very claustrophobic which I informed Sandy.  I had to go through a PFT test at the South campus, which makes me very uncomfortable.  I told Sandy that if I was able to see her, I wouldn’t panic. Sandy was so kind and wonderful.  She stood in front of me the entire time which enabled me to complete the testing. I know “God sent me there.”  I really appreciate running into people like Sandy.  I would not have been able to go through the testing without her compassion.”     Barbara Rodgers

My father was in the hospital for a week.  The nurses were fantastic, the therapists, everybody.  They were kind to him when he rang for them to come to help him to the toilet coming in five minutes.  They heated his coffee for him, his soup.

My x-ray was for pre-op.  If I need hospital services, it is encouraging to know that if I were in the hospital on a regular basis for health issues there would be friendly, helpful people there in my time of need.  When distraught, it is especially nice to have great care.  I wish you success as you strive to bring Jameson to the forefront in health care.

"Is there anything more scary for a woman than a breast cancer biopsy?  I had one at Jameson South and never have I been treated with more warmth and caring than by the staff at the Women's Center.  I had talked to Terry Snyder several times on the phone and she had put me at ease even before entering the hospital.  I called her my concierge as anything I needed was made available.  A sweet nurse, Peggy, took my vitals and with the help of her calming demeanor, I was ready.  Lauren and Kim were so compassionate during the pre surgery making sure I was comfortable.  And then came your Rock Star, Dr. Terri-Ann Gizienski!!!  Absolutely perfect personality for her job.  Anna, Tammie and Chris helped me through the mammogram and clean up.  These three were so dear and even made me laugh.  God gives us all unique talents and these eight women willingly shared theirs.  What an asset they are to the Jameson Health System."  Signed A Grateful Patient

I am very afraid of needles and this was a great experience for my bone scan.  I appreciated everything everyone did to make me feel comfortable and at ease.

Kudos to Mark, x-ray technologist.  I did my pre-surgery screenings and everyone was truly excellent in all departments.  However, Mark stood out from the rest with a simple observation.  Today happens to be my birthday and he was the only one to realize and acknowledge it.  He wished me a happy birthday twice when he verified my information and again when he said goodbye at the dressing room door.  That made my day and I appreciate that he noticed.  Simple things do make a difference.

It was my birthday and I was brought a cupcake for lunch and cake for dinner.  Very nice.

Nurses Aides were very, very good.  Danielle Searcy was the best nurse aide I've ever dealt with.  She was very kind and a real pro.

Best care I could ever received.  Excellent care from everyone!!!

Very, very helpful.  Even supplied me with meds from Pharmacy to take home.  Avoided a trip to an outside pharmacy.

The hospital is very good at handling what it is equipped both staff wise and facility wise.  Know where to send cases beyond their capability.  I would rate this hospital as among the best at what it does.

My entire 4-day stay was strictly professional and first class by the entire staff.  I am grateful and thankful to all concerned.  I thank you.

I won't go to another hospital.  My husband and I both stayed with our son.  I felt more welcomed than a Holiday Inn.  We were kept informed; everyone was friendly and interested in getting my son well.

Special recognition to nuse aide Allie Thimons.  She was always there to answer questions and had a positive attitude and very encouraging.

Medical Imaging - Ultrasound
I never had an ultrasound and I had to drink lots of fluids.  Lori, the receptionist was very kind since I asked her a lot of questions. The technologist was running behind schedule and Lori consoled me because she knew that my bladder was full but she got a hold of Kim.  Kim was just as lovely and made me feel good and explained the procedure.

2 South East
 There was no hot water in my room, however, my good nurse Jenn Montgomery brought hot water from another floor so I could bathe - extra work for her but greatly appreciated by me. 

CCU
All the nurses in CCU were excellent and very professional.  I received great care thank you to Tracy, Sam, Rose and all the great nurses.

Women's Center
I had an ultrasound of my breasts and I was a nervous wreck.  I went in the room with Dr. Gizienski and the techs Lauren and Nikki.  They all were wonderful, friendly and very happy people.  They calmed my nerves by talking to me about different things.  I loved how she was able to tell me what it was right away.  It definitely took a load off my mind.  I have to return every six months for the next two years and I will definitely be coming here to see Dr. Gizienski every time.  We need more doctors and techs like them.

I was at Jameson for a mammogram.  The receptionist, Lori, was very gracious and spoke to me the moment I came in.  Your technologist, Rosita, should get a star! I hadn't had a mammogram in three years but she put me at ease right away.  She was just so professional and had me laughing that I forgot about the mammogram part.  I left there feeling good about having had a mammogram. 

Environmental Services
The room was spotless and the cleaning persons were friendly and efficient. 

Women's Center
I had a breast evaluation last evening at Jameson-South with Dr. Terri-Ann Gizienski.  I would like to thank the excellent caregivers who did my breast imaging and ultra-sound:  Joanie B., Carla, Tammie, Anna, Lauren, Nikki; and of course Dr. Gizienski.  They were kind, professional, and gave wonderful personal attention, which was greatly appreciated.  Thankfully the results were good...that's what I had been waiting over two weeks to hear.  I told them I was going to treat myself to a "vanilla" milkshake and we laughed.  Many thanks to your staff at the Women's Care Center.  It's good to know that nice people are there looking out for us. Please pass this on to Dr. Gizienski and tell her the milkshake was yummy!

Environmental Services
The Housekeeping Staff was very courteous while cleaning my room making sure not to disturb myself or my new baby.  They were also very helpful trying to find the keys my husband lost.

Maternity Care Center
All of the aides and nurses on maternity were fantastic from my c-section to my discharge.  Mary, Leslie, Jamie, Marlene and Phyllis; there ere others but I cannot remember their names.  Could not have asked for more caring staff for me and my new baby.  I have a very large family and had a lot of visitors.  Staff never seemed to mind.  They were also very kind to my husband who stayed with me the 3 nights I was there.  Dr. Enriquez did a very good job giving me my spinal before my c-section and did a great job keeping me comfortable during my surgery.  Dr. Carlson is awesome.  She always took the time to listen to my questions and concerns.  I always knew I was in excellent hands.

Medical Imaging
“I went to your facility to have a repeat mammogram with Dr. Gizienski, whom I had never seen before.  I have my mammograms done at Jameson and I think Dawn (Mammography Tech), is excellent. I had my first experience with Dr. Terri-Ann Gizienski and she is priceless.  I would see her on a regular basis in a heartbeat. Never having an evening appointment for a mammogram, I wasn't sure where I was going.  When I presented to the receptionist Joanie B., she had a smile on her face and a warm welcome, which relaxed me immediately.  Carla took me back, gave me my instructions in the same manner. The mammography techs, Anna and Dawn are exceptional.  They are professional, very knowledgeable and compassionate. I was very impressed with your ultrasound techs, Lauren and Nikki.  They were also professional, very knowledgeable and compassionate.  My appointment with Dr. Gizienski was at 6:00pm, which is when most people are ready to go home to their family.  They have already put in a full day, I know, I also work, and it's time to relax and enjoy your evening.  What amazed me was, even at the end of the day, all of these people were pleasant, caring and professional in every way.  The team of workers and physician, I saw that evening deserve a round of applause.” Maryanne Ascione

 Our receptionist Nicole, very nice and wasn't afraid to smile.  This is very nice when you walk into a place and are greeted with a smile.  There was also a sign at the beginning to please wait here for privacy reasons and someone will be right with you.  Nicole made sure that she acknowledged us and told us she would be right with us.  Some places don't say a word and then you wait and wonder if anyone even knows you are there.  This did not happen with Nicole.  She was very friendly and courteous.

Admissions Family Waiting Room
Volunteer, Eleanor Boyles was very kind.  Calls to keep family informed were very much appreciated.

Admission
Nurse Rose Adams and others in pre-admission were wonderful.  They were very pleasant and patient.

Environmental Services
My room was always clean and neat.  The bathroom ws clean.  All of the aides were wonderful.

All of the nurses were wonderful especially Sherri and Kayla.  There was also a nurse who worked evenings who was very kind but I did not get her name.

The nurses aides made me feel good.  Marcia, Lorrie Matteo, Cindy, Ryan, Corrin, Tessica, Darcey, Judy, Beth, Doug, Alex, Crystal, Jessica, Julia and to the ones I didn't mention, Thanks for all your help.  They were great!

Medical Imaging
“My name is Stacy and I had my Grandmother there today for a mammogram and blood work.  We were given a green card with every ones name on it who helped us today.  I would like to acknowledge everyone on this card. To begin:Our receptionist was Nicole, very nice and wasn't afraid to smile.  This is very nice when you walk into a place and are greeted with a smile.  There was also a sign at the beginning to please wait here for privacy reasons and someone will be right with you.  Nicole made sure that she acknowledged us and told us she would be right with us.  Some places don't say a word and then you wait and wonder if anyone even knows that you are there. Then when they finally do call you up you feel like you are bothering them.  This did not happen with Nicole.  She was very friendly and courteous.

Our technologist, Lindsey, for the mammogram was wonderful.  She called us back and actually walked with us back the hall to our designation (also with a smile).  My grandmother uses a walker so she walks a little slow to keep her balance.  I have seen so many places where they will call you back then take off and you don't know where they went.  She was also very kind and compassionate with my grandmother.  She took her time with her and that means a lot, especially when you are working with the elderly.  After the mammo was done she also needed to get blood work done.  We weren't quite sure where to go.  I asked Lindsey where we need to go for this and not only did she tell us but she took her time again to patiently walk with us back to the elevator that would take us back to the first floor then explained once we got off the elevator where we needed to go.  During our walk, Lindsey also held conversation with us and made us feel comfortable and not like we were a bother and our final acknowledgment is:

Dr Madonna.  Dr. Madonna actually came in and talked with my grandmother and I after her mammogram was finished.   He introduced himself (again with a smile) and was very nice to us. He too held conversation with us and took his time.  It was nice that he himself actually came in and spoke with us regarding her mammo.

Because everyone on this list took their time with my 85 year old grandmother and myself I wanted to take the time to acknowledge how wonderful you made us feel.  My grandmother even made the comment that everyone we dealt with today was wonderful and that she had a really good morning.  So kudos to Nicole, Lindsey and Dr. Madonna.  Please acknowledge them on my behalf.  They should know how wonderful they are.”    Stacy

I had to come to Jameson for medical records and thought what a beautiful hospital.  My surgeon is right here, it is close to home and I instantly changed my mind and am so glad I did.  From the admitting procedure to discharge was exceptional.  Nurses in CCU are wonderful and I'll never forget their genuine caring.

From the moment I entered Jameson until I got in my vehicle to come home, I was treated with 4-star care and concern.  Doctors, nurses, lab, cleaning personnel, etc. all were excellent.  God bless each and everyone of them.

What a wonderful staff.  Angie fit me in the schedule with one day notice and Carla got my script from the doctors office.  Dawn, Angie, Lauren and Nikki are very professional and kind.  Dr. Gizienski came in and talked to me - this is a huge plus.  Staff like these people are why the Radiology Department is the best department in the hospital.  Thanks Girls!

I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart thank you and the 3SW staff for the kindness and compassion shown towards my uncle and my family during his recent illness. Thanks to the 3SW staff, he passed away peacefully Sunday morning.  We cannot say enough about the care he received.  The nurses and aides were in the room frequently checking on us and when the nurses came in to turn my uncle, they not only did what they needed to do but touched him and spoke kindly to him, telling him what they were doing even though he was not responsive.  We were impressed by the care he received. I recently had two procedures done at your hospital.  Frank Morelli, Ultrasound Tech, and Barbara Garver, Nuclear Med Tech, were both kind, patient, understanding and calming.  Both were professional, but made me laugh and seemed genuinely concerned that I not be overly anxious or uncomfortable.  Both took time to explain things to me; Barbara even went out of her way to talk to me about another procedure I have scheduled for next month.  They were both very sweet individuals and in general, seemed like genuinely good people that care about their patients.

I have no complaints at all bout the staff.  They were great!  I could not have received better care anywhere else or from anyone else.  I was in a good room.

The girl who took my menu, not sure of her name, was very helpful.  Really worked with me to get something I would like.  She used a portable desk and was so nice to me

I would like to acknowledge some of the personnel in radiology.  I've been helped a number of times by Lori Ziegler and she is always very pleasant, helpful, and professional.  I'm always glad when I see she's there.   Barbara conducted the bone scan I had  - made it a pleasant (might I say enjoyable and fun?) experience. Answered any questions I had and made me very comfortable.  I had my mammogram done at Jameson South - was met at the receptionist desk by Patty - she made me feel she'd been waiting just for me and was glad to see me. Linda was pleasant and helpful.  Technologist, Tammie was a-ok.  The experience was, again, pleasant and fun..........  Topped off by a consult with Dr. Gizienski.  She's great!  We're lucky to have her... “I was in the radiology department today for my routine mammogram. The receptionist was Denise and my technologist was Ruth.  I just wanted to take a few moments and tell you what a positive experience I had.  Denise greeted me very cheerfully, made a little conversation, asked for the necessary paper work and advised me Ruth would be out to get me and to have a seat.  In my opinion she did an excellent job.  She greeted me with a smile, she did her job but didn’t make me feel rushed or that she was rushing through the appointment process.  The receptionist job I think doesn’t receive enough credit.  They are the first person a customer/patient come in contact with.  This position has the opportunity to get the appointment off to a positive experience or negative.  Denise deserves a “well done”.   Ruth then came and got me, she introduced herself, was friendly, we joked a little and then we began the mammogram process.  This is not a pleasant experience, both embarrassing and a little painful.  She was very patient, and very professional.  She continued light conversation which helps take the patients mind off of what is being done.  At the end or my appointment she walked me down the hall and told me how to exit the building.  Both of these women did a fantastic job for their department.  I know what it takes to find, train and retain good employees and so often they are never told when they do a good job but rather only when something goes wrong.   I just wanted you to know, they did a  GREAT job!  Thank you.”     Linda R. "Too often you only hear negative comments regarding care.  I would like to share some positive comments.  My husband had a Cardiac Cath with stents inserted 6/15/11.  He was admitted to CCU and discharged 6/16/11.  Everyone we came in contact with from the moment we arrived to discharge was friendly caring and informative.  Edna was the CNA that took us to SSOP.  Michele was the RN who admitted and got him ready for the Cath.  They both did much to alleviate our fears.  Gary and Faith were the nurses from the Cath Lab. Gary called me in the waiting room to keep me informed to what was happening and to let me know my husbands status. Faith stayed past her shift to remove his sheath and make sure there were no complications.  She was definitely a calming influence for both of us.  All of the CCU nurses were wonderful.  Rochelle, Robin, Mark and I don't remember the night RN name did a great job caring for Peter.  We are fortunate to be able to receive such wonderful care in our own community. Thank You from the bottom of my heart."     Christine Basile

“I am ashamed to say, that I behaved as a five year old would have today at your facility.  Please allow me to explain, I have several health issues, one being, I beat cervical cancer.  I watched (as a child in the late 60's) my grandmother suffer through a bilateral mastectomy.  I'm not sure how old you are, but if your anywhere near my age, you'd remember that back then, mastectomy sufferers were darn near butchered.  That being said, I was supposed to go for a 6 month recheck of lumps found during a mammo screening.  That was supposed to be in 2009. At the urgency of my PCP and direct result of his adamancy, I went today, and as I stated above, I'm ashamed to say that I behaved like a 5 year old throwing a temper tantrum.  Starting with the sweet lady in mammography.  I am writing to let you know, had it not been for the patience, professionalism, and kindness of this lady, I would NOT have had this done.
 
I started with arguing with the intake that I waited too long, (which was truly an exaggeration on my part), to not wanting to answer pertinent questions of the mammo lady.  I'm sure you hear several complaints from patients, and I thought it only fair, that after what I made your staff endure, that they receive some recognition of their above and beyond level of care.  Thank you.  Thank you for your training them to be so patient and kind, even when it certainly wasn't warranted on my end.  I also apologize for the length of this letter, but wanted you both to have the entire story, so you knew why I acted out, and why your staff in my opinion went above and beyond during my care.  May you have a wonderful summer and I hope your staff does as well.  Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you will pass on my gratitude to the wonderful ladies that babied me through my frightening ordeal."  Gina Fagnilli

The OB floor is wonderful.  I could not have asked for better nurses.  They all treated me and my family wonderful.  They were all concerned about my well being while I was in the hospital.  Tony Fortuna delivered my baby.  Aliscia, Mickley and Phyllis Heasley were in the room helping.  Phyllis had been my nurse all day.  I am so glad for her quick thinking and watching my monitor.  She noticed a problem with my baby's heart rate and things were taken care of quickly.  She was my best nurse that day.  Lesley Ross was my nurse as well.  I had other nurses taking care of me as well.  they all did a great job.

Mrs. McCurdy called today about the care that her husband, John McCurdy, received today while here for a bone scan and skeletal survey.  She could not have praised Barb, Shannon, Sarah and Nicole, any higher as to the care and comfort that was provided by both of them.  Her husband is in a lot of pain and called ahead for a bed for him to use since he needed to stay here the whole time for the bone scan. All of you went out of your way with the utmost care and compassion during this very difficult time for both of them.  All of you actually made their day!  Mr. McCurdy wanted all the names and is eternally grateful for the care provided.

Emergency Department
I stopped to see an old family friend in CCU.  Her son explained how quickly she got sick. She wasn't even short of breath when they left the house to come to the hospital.  She was short of breath as they came into the ED and developed a temp in the ED.  They did not realize how quickly she was getting bad, but he said that 'that nurse in the triage area really knew what she was doing!'  He said they moved a patient into the hall to put his mother into a room.  He said that care was great in the ED.  He said it is a shame how the community knocks our ED, when they are really so good.  He said the care was wonderful in CCU. The pneumonia was caught early, treatment was great, and she is doing very well. 

Medical Imaging
Being a Customer Service Supervisor myself, I appreciate it when a customer gives feedback Good or Bad.   Well my feedback is all GREAT.   Today I was in for a mammogram.  My first experience was with Lori, Lead Receptionist.  She was so friendly and made me feel welcome as if I were her only patient.  She made me feel relaxed and everything will be taken care of.  Next I was with Dawn.  She really knows her job.  Again nothing but the best service was given to me.  She explained everything as we went along and when she had to take a couple more views she was apologizing for the inconvenience.  She also made me feel relaxed and everything will be taken care of.  I then needed an ultrasound and Kim was there to guide me through the experience.  She made sure I was comfortable.  Again explaining everything she would be doing. What a GREAT group of people you have working under your guidance.  I can not say it enough "Thank You for a GREAT experience".       Sally Erskine, ACS, PCS

Nursing Staff
To all of the staff who cared for mother, Mary B., after her surgery, getting her off the vent and finally off the unit to a private room.  We thank you for your care and compassion - for letting me and my daughter stay in the room with her - we tried to be quiet and say out of the way.  For keeping her comfortable - our mail goal- her afternoon nurse was especially appreciated - very kind.  And Barbara - you were a saint filling out the dastardly data base with me.  It was nice to see a familiar face that night.  Everyone was great - we don't want to exclude anyone in our thank you's.   We're going to miss mom a lot - but we'll be forever grateful she didn't have to endure the effects of cancer and surgery any longer than she did.  And thank you again for everything you did for Mary B and me and my daughter.

Jane:  "I wanted to take a minute to report on my positive experiences in Medical Imaging.  I was lucky enough to visit JMH twice in one day.  I forgot that I had a second set of images to generate and left the hospital before the staff could stop me.  I was taken care of by Marlene, Sarah, Shannon, Lori, Rachel and Jessie B.  All were very professional and explained the processes very well.  I asked a lot of questions about how the IT and network systems interact with the imaging equipment—everyone knew their stuff.  It was obvious that the staff was trying very hard to portray their part of JMH as a caring, sensitive place---they succeeded."  J. We would like to commend Linda McBride, our hospice nurse and Dr. Magda.  Even though we only needed hospice for our mother's final four days - the care, compassion and guidance we received then and presently for our father was and presently is greatly appreciated.  We can't thank you enough for all of your guidance at this extremely difficult time.  Again, much thanks.  My dad has the bear made by your wonderful organization sitting on his couch.  Also, my mother felt very confident with hospice knowing Dr. Magda was the medical director.  He was great!

The care and treatment were good.  Having a catheter is not pleasant but they maximized the discomfort and made me feel like I as in good hands.

The housekeeping staff was hard working and very kind.  The dietary staff always knocked before entering the room and were always very pleasant.  The nursing staff was wonderful.  The floor was very busy during my stay but the nursing staff was always prompt to answer the call bell and get me what I wanted.  They were all very skilled and good.

I want to say thank you.  I have told all my friends how wonderful the hospice nurses were and the calls were very meaningful.  I am blessed with many loving relatives and friends.  My sons are so proud of me.  I miss my husband of 61 years, of course, but I am really doing fine.  I love my bear!! I am leaving for Arizona for the winter.

My best nurse was Shelly.  Ms. Whittier, Rochelle and Mark were right on top of things and kept me company are good at what they did.

My labor and delivery experience was wonderful.  My nurses went above and beyond and were extremely helpful in my dealing with pain.  They explained everything and were very accommodating to my family and friends.  I never expected nurses to be so nice, knowledgeable and friendly.  Jameson Hospital is a wonderful place to give birth.

Margaret is extremely caring and understanding.  I consider her an excellent nurse.  Jon is a great nurse.  He took his time and talked with me about what is going on with my life and he, I believe, gave me good input and advice on my situation.  He went out of his way to find information for me that may be very important.  Kathy seems to be nice and a good nurse.  Jessica and Lyndsey treated me very fairly and they are both good girls.

The doctor and nurses on duty were wonderful.  They were very attentive and concerned.

All of my nurses made my time there so easy.  Amy and Phyllis were the best.  They were so helpful.  They made having a baby so much easier.  They were there to teach me what I needed.  Any questions I had, they were right there.  I cannot thank the two them enough.  They were perfect!  I would not change doctors.  They were the best.  Dr. Palumbo made me feel so at ease.  Dr. Papa spent to much time with us and made sure all our questions were answered.  Both doctors are so good.  I would and will tell everyone about them.

I want to thank the staff in CCU and 3rd floor for the kindness and professionalism showed during my stay.  I always had excelent care at JMH.

My care was excellent- from registration to departure. My technologist, Becky, put me at ease. The receptionist, Denise, was efficient. 

Emergency Room
The girls or nurses took very good care of me and did a good job which I’ll never forget them, Michele and Linda.  My experience in ER was exceptional and Anna and her staff were exceptional, I appreciate the attention to my needs.

I want to 'thank you" for a job well done.  I never heard one person complain about their job.  You can tell people take their job to heart even when some have a bad back or they are having a bad day; they treat the patient with respect.  ML

Vicky and Debra were very nice.  They helped me a lot and were very nice people to talk to and helped get me on the road to recovery.  Ruth was the nurse and was very fast and covered all my instructions and was very helpful with my questions.
