Cardiologist is a physician specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormalities of the heart and blood vessels, including high blood pressure, chest pain and arrhythmias. An Interventional Cardiologist deals specifically with invasive procedures, such as catherization or angioplasty, to diagnose and treat heart disease.
