The Jameson Health Care Foundation is proud to present the second annual Paint the Town Pink: A Health & Lifestyle Expo for Women. Dr. Jane Kelley, Family Practice Physician, will serve as Emcee and Dr. Majed Maalouf, Reconstructive & Plastic Surgeon specializing in breast surgery and reconstruction, will be our keynote speaker. The event will feature an exhibitor fair of local businesses offering products and services that matter to women; women's health topics; free health screenings; break-out sessions for relaxation and wellness; door prizes and many impressive Chinese and Silent auction items.

Paint the Town Pink will be held at the very beautiful and scenic McKelvey Campus Center at Westminster College on Saturday, October 22^nd from 10am-2pm.

All proceeds will benefit the Jameson Women’s Center providing the life-saving service of early cancer diagnosis and treatment providing the full spectrum of exceptional breast health services. In addition to digital mammography, the most accurate technology for early diagnosis, and Stereotactic breast biopsies, a minimally invasive image-guided technique, specialized breast and breast reconstructive surgery is now available.

This year, our "P.I.N.K. Breast Cancer Survivor Hero" is Melissa Grimes. Melissa was diagnosed with breast cancer last year - at the age of 30. Her experience battling the most aggressive form of breast cancer is unbelievable, to say the least. What this amazing woman continues to endure with powerful optimism is a beautiful inspiration. Melissa wants all women to know the importance of self awareness and early detection of breast cancer. Melissa's story will inspire such awareness that, she hopes, will save other womens' lives.

Jameson Health System employees honored Melissa by dawning their locks with "pink hair to show you care." This photo depicts a scene from Jameson's Pink Glove Dance, to be premiered at Paint the Town Pink.

Melissa is also featured with her co-workers as the youngest member of the "club" of breast cancer survivor heroes who work at Jameson Health System. This photo depicts only a sampling of the many employees who are breast cancer survivor heroes.

The Berlin Lounge in McKelvey Campus Center will be dedicated to health and wellness education and free health screenings throughout the event from 10:30am - 1:30pm.

Adorned with pink surgical gloves, the Jameson Health System team of physicians, employees, students and volunteers are dancing their hearts out to spread awareness of early detection of breast cancer. The video compilation will be premiered at Paint the Town Pink, to then be featured throughout the Internet.
